On Friday, the National Investigation Agency (NIA)🕵 along with state police👮🏻 rounded up 14 ISIS▪ sympathisers and upgraded surveillance📹 on suspected terrorists ahead of Republic Day🇮🇳 which will be celebrated next week, on Tuesday. As per the Home Ministry, the arrests have been nation-wide. A total of 5⃣ persons from Lucknow, Mumbai🌃, Bengaluru and Mangalore have been arrested⛓, and 9⃣ persons are in custody for interrogations. The NIA🕵 moved into action as the Bengaluru French Consulate received a threat letter📨. As per the instructions of the Delhi Police👮🏻, for the Republic Day🇮🇳 security arrangements the Delhi Metro services of line 2, 3 &4 will be partially curtailed. The Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan Metro stations' Entry and Exit at will remain closed⛔ from 0600 hrs to Noon while those of Patel Chowk and Race Course Metro stations will remain closed⛔ from 0845 hrs to Noon.
