Indian Origin Engineer👓 an Oscar Winner❓

  |   Tech News

In the early 1990s, Cottalango Leon was completing his B. E in Computer Science👓 from Coimbatore. At that time, he wouldn't have imagined that one day, he would make 🇮🇳 proud by winning an Oscar👏 certificate for his contribution to cinema🎥. Leon is one of two Indians to be honored this year by the Academy of Motion Pictures under the 'Science and Technical🔧 Achievements' category for developing Sony Pictures' Imageworks Itview (The other being Rahul Thakkar). Leon, 44, has helped make several films🎥 like the 'Spiderman' series, 'Men In Black😎' series, 'Hotel Transylvania👻,' 'The Smurfs,' 'Cloudy With The Chance of Meatballs🍝,' 'Open Season' and 'Stuart Little🐭.' The fact that his friends and family see him now as an inspiration and though he’s not used to the attention and excitement, Leon is trying his best to engage and do his part. We too are truly impressed, Leon👏.
