Lodha Panel📝 calls for changes🔁 in BCCI

In a report📝 submitted to the Supreme Court🏤,the 3⃣ member Lodha panel has recommended making sweeping changes🔁 in BCCI's administrative structure, calling for clear and stringent eligibility criteria for the board's office-bearers👔 and limiting their time in office. The panel has also suggested giving autonomy for the IPL Governing Council👥 and the formation of a players' association👍 to be given highest representation at the board. Another suggestion was the appointment of a CEO👔 to look into the day-to-day running of the BCCI👏. The panel suggested the appointment of three independent officials - an ombudsman, an ethics officer and an election officer👏.
The panel, headed by retired CJI R.M. Lodha👤 was constituted last January after the Raj Kundra - Gurunath Meiyappan betting💰 scandal that rocked IPL.
