Make in Mumbai🌃❗️Foxconn's new 🇮🇳 factory👏

Taiwanese electronics manufacturer, Foxconn, will produce 4G📶 smart📱s from its Navi Mumbai🌃 facility in March, for Reliance Jio, which will launch🚀 the service in April. Foxconn has invested ₹33,300 cr💰 and taken 200,000 sq ft on a sub-lease in Navi Mumbai's information technology & IT-enabled services zone but is yet to formally apply for allotting 1,500 acres for its R&D facility🏢 which could be in Khopoli, Raigad and Chakan-Talegaon, Pune. Foxconn used to have a factory🏭 to make Nokia phones📱 in Chennai, but closed down when Microsoft bought Nokia. It then set up a unit at Sricity, AP, where it makes phones for Xiaomi, One Plus➕ and Asus. These companies are manufacturing smart📱 to meet the growing demand in 🇮🇳, bringing down their cost by 12%.
