Probe panel on Jang’s govt begins sitting; receives 105 memos

The Judicial Commission of Inquiry set up by the Governor of Plateau State, Mr. Simon Lalong, to investigate the financial activities of the government of the state from May 29, 2007 to May 29, 2015 has commenced sitting in Jos.

At the inaugural public sitting held yesterday, Chairman of the Commission, Justice Stephen Adam, disclosed that 105 memoranda were submitted to the commission.

He added that the commission would sit for the hearing on all days of the week except Sundays, to be able to meet its deadline.
