Finance Minister💰 Arun Jaitley said on Monday that his budget💰 “appealed to both economic as well as political logic.” He also said that💬 “The idea is to put more money in the hands of the rural folk and the farmer so that spending increases and economy picks up.” He said that in an environment of global economic💸 depression📉, the government’s decision to drive growth through public spending helped the FDI inflow📈. However, Jaitley said, “Still we have not realised our potential. We can do better if the global environment improves, and domestically with an unobstructive opposition.” He also called Rahul’s👦🏻 “fair and lovely” remark over the issue “racist.” Jaitley said,💬 “As if what is not fair is not lovely. But I will pass it off as ignorance.” Jaitley then attacked Congress✋ MP Shashi Tharoor😎 saying that country could not be run on “Shashinomics,” which was more poetry🌷 than logic. Shashi simply smiled😄 without any protest.
