President Barack Obama🇺🇸 was recently interviewed🎙 by ballet dancer Misty Copeland💃. Speaking about body image & empowering young women👩, the U.S president revealed that he wasn't initially aware of the pressure😨 young women face in terms of looking a certain way and also felt that it is even more challenging for African-American women. About about his daughter, he said,"I mean, Malia’ll talk about black girls’ hair and will have much opinions of that. And she’s pretty opinionated about the fact that it costs a lot, it takes a long time, that sometimes girls can be just as tough on each other about how they’re supposed to look."
He didn't miss out on the opportunity to compliment the first lady on her looks,"The fact that they’ve got a tall, gorgeous mom who has some curves, and that their father appreciates, I think is helpful.”👍 Obama stressed that the younger generation has a broader understanding of how the concept of beauty transcends physical appearance, thanks to role models like Copeland.
