A group of traders in Haryana, who suffered damages😟 during the recent protests by the Jats, have deemed the interim compensation package offered by the Govt as insufficient👎. They claim that Govt was offering insignificant sums as compensation which is not sufficient for them to get their businesses back on track👎. Owner of one of Rohtak's famous malls🏢 said, "Out of total financial loss of ₹10.25 crore💰, I have been paid just ₹10 lakh by state govt which is far too meagre". While Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar has assured the traders that they will be fully compensated👍 in due course of time, the traders are demanding a higher initial payout💵 so that they can re-establish their ventures and pay off debts😯. The loss caused by the protests💥 in Rohtak alone is estimated at about ₹1000 crore😱.
