Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has made an impassioned plea🙏 to PM Modi and asked him not to marginalise the poor and needy in 🇮🇳😯. Linking the Rohith Vemula incident and the JNU row💥 with the rights of the poor, Rahul asked the Govt to attack him personally but leave the weak alone for whom he claimed to speak😳. He accused the Govt of threatening😡 and pressurising the students in the aforementioned incidents, and also claimed the tribals in Chhattisgarh's Bastar area are facing atrocities😱 from the Govt. In an obvious reference to the remark💬 from PM Modi & Finance Minister Arun Jaitley that Rahul was 'immature'😏, he said, "Attack me as much you want😌. Speak for as long as you want to, but don’t hit the poor people of the country".
The BJP responded to the comments by claiming that India's poverty and unemployment were created by the previous Congress Govts😯.
