At 1.50 am🕐 on Tuesday, a massive fire🔥 destroyed the National Museu🏤m of Natural History which was on FICCI property. Virtually everything that was of worth💰 has been reduced to ashes😳, including various fossils💀. After it was found out that the museum’s fire-fighting system🚨 had failed, Environment🌳 Minister Prakash Javadekar has asked for an urgent audit🔎 in all museums across 🇮🇳. Javedkar said, “We will assess the damage as soon as we (can) and see how we can restore it.” However, museum officials said💬, "Everything has been damaged, some by fire, some by gases and some by the water used to douse the flames." Around 35 fire trucks🚒 arrived at the area to fight the fire which was finally brought under control at 6.00 am🕡. The museum had 3,000 children 👫visit it daily. As per Delhi Fire Service chief⛑ G.C. Mishra , “no human intervention was involved in causing the fire that started from the seventh floor. However, we have completely doused the fire but cooling operation is still on.” He said that “an electrical gadget"⚡ was the cause of the fire🔥.
