On Wednesday, the Supreme Court🏤 (SC) said that Uttarakhand will continue to remain under President’s Rule✊ and keep the status quo until it decides💡 further. The floor test ordered by the Uttarakhand High Court🏣 (HC) for Friday’s will also be cancelled🚫. The SC asked the Centre🏛 whether a 💬“delay in the floor test be a ground for proclamation of President Rule?" The Centre forced President’s Rule✊ on 27 March, just one day before Harish Rawat was to take a trust vote🗳. They made the move claiming that Rawat lost👎 the right to vote when he presented the state budget💰 in March which was wrongly❌ declared passed & was voted against by 9⃣ members. To which the SC🏤 said, “The Speaker is the master of the assembly.” Congress✋ are accusing the Centre of misusing President's Rule to end❌ Rawat’s government. Congress have blocked🚫 Parliament while shouting slogans🗣, demanding that the Modi government✌ end its “travesty of democracy.”
