Introducing the Puma BeatBot🏎 – a four-wheeled robot🤖 the size of a shoebox📦 programmed to race against athletes to and give them something to actually beat👊. Created by the J. Walter Thompson ad agency & engineers👓 at MIT, the BeatBot is a race-car robot🏎 with 9⃣ infrared sensors designed to run along the lines of a race track🛣 at a fixed pace. It can race as fast as Usain Bol😜t, but if it’s too fast for you, you can always slow it down🚶 via its mobile app📱. The bot monitors the revolution of its wheels🔘 to calculate its speed. It has front and rear GoPro cameras📷 and LED lights on its back. For now, it’s only available to athletes👊 signed in with Puma, but will be introduced to other programmes soon. Check it out📹:
