Probe🔎 Ordered into NGO Violations⚠

Alleged irregularities🤔 in the Home Ministry’s (MHA) Foreigners Division, which monitors👁 "violations" of the provisions of Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) by NGOs, will be scrutinised🔎. A ministry official said that they are awaiting a CBI🕵 report which registered a case connected with FCRA notices to NGOs, some crucial files📂 of which are missing. The Home Ministry wishes to ensure that all essential documents📑 are in safe custody. Under Secretary in the Home Ministry, Anand Joshi, who has been registered by the CBI in a related case💼 has been accused of stealing the files📂 of various NGOs. However, Joshi denied❌ the claim and said that the CBI hasn’t found anything. Joshi also alleges that he was threatened😠 by Additional Secretary in the Home Ministry B K Prasad to clear some NGOs which were accused of violating⚠ FCRA provisions. However, Prasad denied❌ the allegation.
