Acclaimed filmmaker📽 Woody Allen has sparked a raging debate💬 at the ongoing Cannes film festival after claiming that entering his film 'Cafe Society' in the competition section of the festival was against 'common sense😳'. Interestingly, Woody Allen has never entered one of his films in competition at Cannes😳. He said🔈, "It’s very subjective. For any group to judge other people is something one should never do, with the judgment that 'this is the best' in some platonic way, the objective best. I don’t believe in it, and I don't want to participate".
However, his view was not shared😏 by this year's jury president, director George Miller, who felt that the Palme d'Or🏆 is a very relevant award - one which is awarded after careful consideration among passionate people👌.
