After the disappearance👀 of Union Home Ministry (MHA) official Anand Joshi, the CBI🕵 on Sunday had him arrested for allegedly issuing FCRA notices⚠ to several NGOs. Joshi had allegedly given unconvincing answers to the CBI’s🕵 Special Crime Division relating to the disappearance of certain files from the Sabrang Trust of Teesta Setalvad. CBI Spokesperson🗣 Devpreet Singh said that he was tracking Joshi💬 “based on information that he was in West Delhi area around 5 PM he was detained,” and bought to the CBI HQ after being questioned about the case💼. Joshi and some others have allegedly indulged in corrupt👹 practices and issued notices to several NGOs, registered under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), which were receiving foreign contributions💰. Joshi has rejected❌ the charge and accused his superiors of pressuring him to give the NGO’s a clean chit✅ saying that he was subjected to mental harassment😭.
