🔰 Assembly elections🗳 in TN saw a turnout of 69.19% till 🕔5pm. The voting was largely peaceful, with few unfortunate incidents occurring. A 54-year old polling officer died of a massive heart attack😱 in a booth in Kangeyam constituency. Two elderly voters in Madurai and Sivaganga collapsed and died. The election was postponed⛔ in Aravakurichi and Thanjavur constituencies after alleged money distribution💰 took place. Surprisingly, Chennai recorded the lowest polling in TN😳.

🔰 72.57% polling was recorded in Kerala as all 140 constituencies went to poll👏. The voting process was largely peaceful but 2⃣ CPI (M) workers were arrested for casting bogus votes in Kannur👎, following which District Collector suspended the polling officials. Kannur recorded the highest polling % while Thiruvananthapuram was the lowest📊.

🔰 Voters braved the rain☂ as Puducherry witnessed 81.94% turnout. On the flip side, large numbers of travellers were stranded in Puducherry as TNSTC and PRTC operated minimal bus services🚌.
