On Friday, BJP🔸 leader Roopa Ganguly was blocked⛔ from entering Kolkata’s Jadavpur University🏤 due to student factions fighting over a controversial movie🎥. RSS🚩 affiliated Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) students and left-backed student unions were fighting👊 each other over the screening of Vivek Agnihotri’s film ‘Buddha in A Traffic Jam,’🎥 on the campus. left-leaning FETSU students alleged that 4⃣ of the organisers had molested female students and therefore had them confined⛓ inside the campus. ABVP activists shouted outside the Uni. gate demanding that the 4⃣ be released. Ganguly alleges that the captured have been beaten up👊, falsely accused and wrongly confined. She filed a complaint at the Jadavpur police👮🏼 station. Filmmaker Agnihotri said that there were protests✊ “because for the first time in 70 years somebody has dared to expose the Naxal-academia-intellectuals-media nexus.” But protestors😠 said the movie has “diversive content.” The movie also stars BJP🔸 supporter, Anupam Kher.
