Nepal's🇳🇵 Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced📢 that the Nepal-India Boundary〰 Global Navigation Satellite System (NIB GNSS) will be used for more than 8,000 boundary pillars📍. This will allow authorities to effectively manage the 1,700 km boundary〰. The decision was made during a 3⃣-day meeting of 🇳🇵Nepal-India🇮🇳 Boundary Working Group (BWG) which ended on Sunday. DG of the Survey Department, Krishna Raj BC of the Nepali🇳🇵 delegation and Swarna Subba Rao, Surveyor General of India🇳🇵 led the meeting. The meeting reviewed🔎 reports📑 submitted to it by the Survey Officials Committee🕵 (SOC) and Joint Field Survey Teams👥 (FST). The ministry said💬, “Both the delegations reaffirmed the importance of effective boundary management.”
