The city of Soeul, South Korea🇰🇷 has announced📢 that it will soon install traffic and pedestrian signs🚸 which alert passers-by of the danger⚠ of using smartphones📱 while on the street. They will be installed in 5⃣ areas: Hongdae, City Hall, Yonsei University, Gangnam Station, and Jamsil Station, and specifically target teenagers and young adults. South Korea🇰🇷 has the highest smartphone ownership📱 in the world and also happens to be one of the most active smartphone manufacturers worldwide with LG & Samsung at the top. Europe🌐, the US🇺🇸 and other cities too are following suit. Augsburg, Germany🇩🇪 is experimenting with traffic lights🚥 embedded in the sidewalks, so people looking at their smartphones👀 can notice them.
