On Thursday, the Bombay High Court⚖ gave a fresh twist to the Udta Punjab🎥 controversy💥. The court asked for an explanation from the Censor Board🏛 for its instruction to remove✂ 'Punjab' from Udta Punjab. The bench headed by Justice S.C. Dharmadhikari pointed👉 out the example of another movie🎞 'Go Goa Gone'. Goa is shown📽 as a place where people go to take banned 💊drugs in the movie. “If Goa can be shown as a place of drug abuse in that film, what is wrong if Punjab is shown in Udta Punjab?” asked the judge. The lawyer👔 who appeared for the Censor Board claimed that the committee made its 😳decisions after proper evaluation🔍 and said that none of the 13 changes in the film was arbitrary😕. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister👳 Sukhbir Singh Badal said that the government has nothing😇 to do with the movie and that it is a dispute👊 between the makers and the Censor Board.
