🇮🇳 Indian-born 🇦🇺Australian wrestler, Vinod Kumar, 31, was kicked off the 🇦🇺Australian ◯◯◯◯◯Olympic team for doping and has 30 days to appeal to a 4⃣-year doping 🚫ban. Kumar is a 6⃣-time national champion. Later tests of his blood💉 samples were also positive. The 🇦🇺Australian ◯◯◯◯◯Olympic Committee “has asked Wrestling Australia to withdraw the nomination of athlete Vinod Kumar for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games following an anti-doping violation.” They added, “The international federation, United World Wrestling, has advised they will reallocate his position in the 66kg division to the next best ranked NOC.” Kumar became an 🇦🇺Australian citizen in 2015 and represented them in March where he won 🔱gold at the 🌊Oceania championships in 🇳🇿New Zealand. Kumar had arrived as a 🙇student in 2010 and had been t☔raining ever since. His position will not be given to another 🇦🇺Australian and his profile has already been removed❌ from the team’s website.
