Dr Amar Gopal Bose, 🇮🇳 Indian-American🇺🇸 entrepreneur, academic and founder of Bose Corporation, died on July 12 in Wayland, Massachusetts🇺🇸; he was 83 years old. Bose was born👶🏻 on 2nd Nov 1929 in Philly🏙, to Noni Gopal Bose, an 🌎American schoolteacher, freedom fighter and Calcutta Uni.🏤 physicist👓. His father fled to the 🇺🇸US in 1920 after being imprisoned for opposing the British🇬🇧. Amar, his son, later began a radio repair🔧 service, which Noni encouraged. After WW2, he borrowed 💲10K to enter Amar into Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Although he intended to stay for 2⃣ years, he remained there for 9⃣ years and came out with a motto💬: “how can I make this better?” along with a bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees📜.
