A study🔎 was conducted on the winners at the 🌉London 2012 ◯◯◯◯◯Olympics & Paralympics where 756 volunteers👥 were asked to rate the perceived happiness of 🏅medallists. The study shows that the happiness of the ⚪silver 🏅medallists depended on how close the final top 3⃣ results were. While the 🔶bronze 🏅medallists were simply happy to have won something, the ⚪silver 🏅medallists were rather morose☹ at the fact that they didn’t win 🔱gold. The study also showed that both 🔱gold & ⚪silver 🏅medallists were less happy when their results were close. Teams👯 were also happier than individual athletes🏃 (except for ⚪silver winners) & Olympians were generally happier than Paralympians💺.
