An investigation report📝 prepared by World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) claims that Russia operated a state-sponsored doping💉 programme for four years from the start of 2011, across various sports🙆 in the summer and winter Olympics. Allegedly, the doping programme was planned and operated from 2011, through the 2012 London Olympics😲 and carried on after the 2014 Sochi winter Olympics👎. The shocking report says that Russia's sports ministry 'directed, controlled and oversaw' manipulation of urine samples😣 provided by its athletes. It seems the positive samples from Russian athletes would often go missing after testing😯.
International Olympic Committee (IOC) President👔 Thomas bach described the findings as 'shocking and disturbing😱'. He further said that it was an unprecedented attack💥 on the integrity of the Olympics. The IOC will decide on further 'provisional measures🚫 and sanctions' for Russia ahead of the Rio Olympics soon. The calls for Russia to be banned altogether from the games are growing louder by the minute after the report came out😏.
