🇮🇳Shot Putter 🏅Told to Compete 😱Without Coach👔

  |   India News / Sports

Manpreet Kaur👩 is 🇮🇳India's first shot-put athlete to have qualified👍 for the Olympic Games🏅. The 25-year-old from Punjab is the one who broke👏 the 18-year-old national record in 2015✌. But she won't heading to Rio🎉 with all 😳smiles. According to a recent report💬, her husband and coach👨 Karamjeet Singh has been denied permission❌ to accompany her to Rio. Manpreet revealed that a senior official👔 at the Athletic Federation of India told🔈, "You won't win a medal, hence what’s the point of sending a coach with you?"
However, Karamjeet😞 will be travelling to Rio on his own finances₹ but only five days after the games begin😔. This can affect the athlete's preparations very badly😯 since proper training and guidance🤔 are required especially👉 for an event like shot-put. "I sincerely request AFI and the Sports Ministry to allow my coach to travel with me as the results will be there to see." Manpreet 🔈said.
