Sustainable🌏 Devpt⬆: 🇮🇳India Ranks Low😞

The 🌏Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and the Bertelsmann Stiftung🏢 launched a new Sustainable Development Goal Index⬆ in which 🇮🇳India has ranked a low 110😞 out of 149 nations assessed. It ranks countries👌 on the basis of their performance👍 on 17 global goals🎯 which comes under the 3⃣ parameters of sustainable development👉: economic development, social👨 inclusion and environmental🌿 sustainability, underpinned by good✌ governance. The list is topped😎 by western European🎉 countries which do not❌ have the biggest economies💰. Sweden👏 is ranked first while Denmark🎊 and Norway🇳🇴 comes 2⃣nd and 3⃣rd respectively. The only G7 countries🤔 in the top 10 are Germany🇩🇪 (6) and the UK(10). Meanwhile, 🇺🇸USA ranks 25th in the index and 🇨🇳China are 76th in the list.
SDSN Director👔 Jeffrey Sachs said🔈, "The Sustainable Development Goals are stretch goals, but they are within reach if countries work towards them with clarity and determination. The SDG Index and Dashboard can help each country to chart out a practical path for achieving the Goals.”
