Another Indian🇮🇳 Olympic qualifier has failed a dope💉 test. Shot-putter 💪Inderjeet Singh's 'A' sample returned positive➕ for banned🚫 steroids (androsterone and etiocholanolone) and he has been informed by National Anti-Doping Agency(NADA). Singh believes that it is a conspiracy😯 and that he isn't at fault. 🔈"I have been framed because I am outspoken. This is a conspiracy against me. I was shocked when I found out I failed dope test. I have never said no to dope tests. This is the best way to stop an athlete from competing. My sample has been tampered with, " said the athlete. He also claimed that he had tested at least 50 times in the past 2⃣ years and that there was no chance of him failing👎 a dope test now. Singh who won a silver in the 2014 Asian Games👏 has been asked by NADA if he wants to test his 'B' sample. If that also tests positive, he would miss the Rio Olympics and could be banned🚫 for 4⃣ years. He is under provisional suspension as of now and has a week to respond to NADA🤔.
Inderjeet Singh had a training stint earlier this year in the United States🇺🇸 under funding💰 of the Sports Ministry's Target Olympic Podium (TOP) Scheme.
