7⃣th Pay💰 Commission Accepted✅

On Monday, the Finance Ministry💰 took up the 7⃣th Pay Commission's recommendation to increase📈 the salaries for Central Govt. employees. This will benefit the 1⃣ cr staff as well as pensioners & will cost an extra ₹1.02 lakh cr💰 per year. However, the Centre also agreed to the suggestion to withhold⛔ annual increment of those employees who had sub-par performance📉 within the first 20 years of their service. Entry level pay has been increased to 💵₹18,000 per month from current 💵₹7,000 with effect from 1⃣ Jan ’16. The maximum pay, drawn by the Cabinet Secretary, has been fixed at ₹2.5 lakh💰 per month from current 💵₹90,000. It also provided for a consolidated monthly pay package of ₹4.5 lakh 💰 for chairpersons of sector regulators & ₹4 lakh 💰 for their members.
