SL🆚AUS Day 2⃣: Spin💫 Does it for Lankans‼

Sri Lanka🇱🇰 bounced back in the 2nd day of the 1st Test and restricted✋ Australia🇦🇺 to 203, conceding a lead of 86 runs.
Rangana Herath & debutant Lakshan Sandakan were the stars💫 of the day as they picked up 4 wickets each. Herath removed both the overnight🌙 batsmen early- Smith's brain freeze😳 led to his stumping & Khawaja, guilty of playing back to a quick turner was given out LBW☝. Adam Voges and Mitchell Marsh steadied the innings⚓ after a shaky start to the session. Sixty odd runs and twenty-two overs later, Sandakan bowled Marsh with a peach of a delivery👏 to earn his first international wicket. Post Lunch🍴, the left-arm wrist spinner kept chipping away at the lower order in his long spell to finish with figures of 4/58🙌. Useful contributions from Steven O' Keefe and Nathan Lyon pushed the score beyond 200.
Only 2.2 overs were possible in the 2nd innings as rain⛈ played spoilsport once again. Mitchell Starc⚡ beat Kusal Perera for pace and caught him plumb in front before the covers came on. Like Day 1, rain prevented play in the final session😟 of what has been an entertaining test match so far.
