Nico Rosberg wasn't to be outdone😏 by Lewis Hamilton at his home Grand Prix as he set the pace💨 in both the practice sessions of the German GP🏁 on Friday. Rosberg was at least 0.3 seconds🕑 quicker than the defending champion at the Hockenheim track. Rosberg needs a strong result💪 badly after seeing a 43-point lead atop the drivers standings turn into a 6-point deficit over 5 races🙆. Ferrari, who have still not won a race in 2016, outpaced the Red Bulls with Vettel taking 3rd place👍. Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo (both Red Bull) were 4th and 5th. Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari) completed the 🔝-6👏.

Hulkenberg (Force India), Button (McLaren), Perez (Force India) and Alonso (McLaren) took up the remaining top-10 spots.
