Trump revives primary election controversies

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump aired out a full year’s worth of controversies during a campaign event here Friday, insisting that the media have misled voters about incident after incident to attack him personally. And he bemoaned that his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, is using those episodes against him now — including when he mocked a disabled reporter; when he made flippant comments about a female news anchor with “blood coming out of her wherever,” which many thought was a reference to her menstrual cycle; and when he made the debunked claim that thousands of Muslims celebrated in New Jersey after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. "I see these ads that are running against me; they're vicious, they're vicious. And they're false,” Trump said.
