Zimbabwe succumbed🙆 to an innings defeat against New Zealand in their first Test since 2014 after a facile performance👏 from the Kiwis. The innings and 117-run victory also marked a debut win✌ as captain for New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson. Zimbabwe started the day at 121/5, still 291 runs adrift of NZ, and immediately lost the important wicket😟 of Craig Ervine (50) who played inside a Boult delivery. But Graeme Cremer (33) found a partner👍 in Sean Williams (119) and both of them set about defying✋ the Kiwis with a 118-run stand. Willaims was especially severe💥 on the Kiwis in an entertaining knock which lasted 148 balls. But once Cremer was given out LBW incorrectly☝, the Kiwis did not encounter much trouble in finishing off the hosts.
