NBC📺 Chief Plays Down Zika👾 Threat

  |   Sports

📺NBC's Gary Zenkel, the man in charge of broadcasting the upcoming Rio Olympics🏅 has said that he isn't concerned by the Zika virus👾 threat. Zenkel👔 has covered 10 Olympic events so far and believes the Brazil🇧🇷 is as good as any other venue he has been to. NBC will have a crew of 1,100 people covering🎥 the games in Rio de Janeiro and Zenkel asserted that the risk of infection is quite low⬇. 🔈"The actual risk, especially if you’re a traveller in an air-conditioned building, hotel, workspace or out on a field of play, of contracting the virus, of encountering a mosquito is very, very, very slim," said Zenkel. The company is allowing any concerns🤔 to opt out from travelling✈ to Brazil and work remotely, though.
NBC would also be allowing digital partners like BuzzFeed to use the network's access to broadcast📡 to their social media-oriented💻 audiences.
