The Indian🇮🇳 Air Force created history🎉 when a Sukhoi fighter aircraft, with the most powerful warship available landed in Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh. This marked the ceremonial inauguration🎊 of the renovated Advanced Landing Ground in the oldest town of the state, by the Union Minister of State for home Kiren Rijiju. Air Marshal C Hari Kumar👮, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Air Command was also present. The Minister declared it as a red letter day✨ for Arunachal Pradesh as this would trigger development in the state. The Sukhoi🛩 touchdown was preceded by a fly-past by three formation off three other Sukhoi-30 MKI Ai Dominance Fighter aircrafts that took off from one of the several forward bases of the IAF in the Northeastern region. The Defence Ministry signed✍ an MoU with the state government in 2009 to hand over the ALGs. The IAF has since developed 5⃣ of the 8⃣ ALGs in Pasighat and will complete two more at Tuting & Tawang👏.
