Scientists👓 at MIT🏤 are using a genome-editing system to create human cells capable of recording💾 & reporting memories. The system programmes cells to flip DNA〰 segments when events occur such as exposure to specific chemicals⚗. More importantly, the exposure’s duration & intensity too can be stored. All of the information allows for a much closure study on the impact of infections & diseases👾 like 🦀cancer. The technology could be used to follow the tasks of specialized cells during development from an embryo👶🏻 to full-grown adult👨🏻.
