England are only a whisker away😯 from winning the 3⃣rd Test against Pakistan at Birmingham on the back of a superior bowling performance💪 in the 2nd innings to leave Pakistan reeling at 134/7 in pursuit of a 343-run target🎯. England, who started day 5 at 414/5, declared soon at 445/6, 342 runs ahead👍.
Pakistan only had to bat out the day to stay safe😌 and started well, despite the customary loss of Hafeez's wicket. Sami Aslam (70) and Azhar Ali (38) batted solidly to push👌 the score to 79/1 before disaster struck. Moeen Ali induced an edge from Azhar Ali which proved the catalyst for English bowlers to rule the roost💥. Anderson, Woakes and Finn got into the act as England reduced😱 Pakistan, who were 124/3 to 135/7. Quite an astonishing piece of cricket which was further aided by listless batting🙆.
