G👀gle has confirmed that its Project Ara modular smart📱phone was too costly💲 & ambitious to make modular 📱phones a reality☹. G👀gle, in May, said that the 📱phones would ship this fall. The decision was made by G👀gle hardware chief Rick Osterloh👔 as he was trying to deal with the seemingly disorganised product line up. The concept was brought forth by G👀gle's experimental ATAP 👥group under ex-chief Regina Dugan, who now works for 👤Facebook. Ara was a smart📱phone which could have various modules attached, rearranged & replaced in it within seconds.
