Riding on Asela Gunaratne's maiden Test hundred, Sri Lanka posted a total of 504 before being bowled out in the afternoon session on Day 2 of the second Test against Zimbabwe on Monday (November 7).
The afternoon session of the second day began with skipper Graeme Cremer continuing to create chances as a defiant Rangana Herath survived a close shave with a sharp turner going past the outside edge and the off stump as well. Hamilton Masakadza, popularly considered to be the man with the golden arm, shared the attack but to no avail.
In reply, the hosts slumped to 30/2, with Rangana Herath picking two wickets with the new ball.
