England managed to do better in their second innings, notching up 355 even though it only handed them a 73 run lead which was easily chased down by India with 7 wickets to spare.

Strauss scored a century in both innings and India were set a formidable target of 387. Sehwag's quickfire knock opened doors for the tough chase. Tendulkar scored a memorable century and was well supported by Yuvraj Singh. The duo led India to a 6 wicket win. Sachin dedicated the victory to the victims of the attack.
🔰The 2012 series in India was the final frontier for England who wanted to establish themselves as the reigning force in Test cricket. India managed 327 in the first innings thanks to a gritty century by Pujara. England responded with Kevin Pietersen’s belligerent 186 alongside Cook’s 122 to guide them to 413. In their second innings, India got skittled out for 142 by the English spinners which set up a ten-wicket win for the visitors.
