India🇮🇳 have had a good👌 morning session on Day 3. They went into Lunch🍴 at 162/1 with Murali Vijay & Cheteshwar Pujara unbeaten after their half centuries👏.
Stuart Broad⚡ trapped Gautam Gambhir leg before☝ at the start of the day. Gambhir's open stance didn't help him as he succumbed to a ball that swung in and he got his foot far too across. In form batsman, Pujara walked in next and has played exceptionally so far. England chose to operate with spin💫 & pace⚡ at either ends. The Indian batsmen were relatively sedat against the seamers and went after the spinners. Chris Woakes initially troubled Pujara with some accurate short pitch bowling and hit him thrice on the helmet😯. However, the local boy remained composed and scored at quick rate after the initial jitters. Vijay, at the other end, blunted the bowling with his stoic defence🛡. He did reach his 50 in style😎 with a six off Ansari.
India need more of the same in the rest of the day to save this Test. England can afford to attack👊, having the luxury of a mammoth first innings total.
