Amaechi to Igbo: Stop lamenting, conquer with what you have

ELDER statesman and first republic Minister of Aviation, Chief Mbazulike Amaechi is unhappy with Igbo for constantly bemoaning their situation in Nigeria, telling them to stop lamenting their loss of political power in the country because they could still conquer with what they have.

Speaking at a political round-table organized by the Movement for Greater Anambra State, MOFGAS, in Awka, Amaechi urged them to strive to conquer economic and technical power since the hallmark of every government was to effect development to make life better for the people.

Though Amaechi acknowledged the neglect of Igbo nation, which he said, contributed immensely towards independence and economic growth of the country, he argued that rather than bemoan their situation, Igbo people should exploit their ingenuity by using their technical and business acumen to develop their land.
