Ben Stokes confirms he wants to play in Indian Premier League

Ben Stokes will put his name in the hat for the draft on February 4, hoping to snare a lucrative contract and some crucial experience in one of the world's premier white-ball competitions, the Indian Premier League.

England pair Sam Billings and Jos Buttler are already contracted for IPL 10, while Jason Roy revealed this week he too would be seeking a deal and one-day captain Eoin Morgan and Alex Hales are also likely to be in the bidding.

"I've put myself forward for the auction, it's a good opportunity to go away and experience different competitions," said Stokes.
