England endured a morning of embarrassment at the hands of a little-known 20-year-old during their two-day tour match against a WA XI at the WACA Ground on Sunday.
England posted a respectable 6(dec)/349 on Saturday.
But their frontline pace attack could barely make a dent during Sunday's morning session against what is effectively a third-string WA side.
At lunch on day two, WA were 1/124, with Josh Philippe on 88 off 89 balls, and Will Bosisto on eight.
Philippe struck 16 boundaries during the morning session, with Stuart Broad (0-32 off five overs) among the bowlers to cop some punishment.
James Anderson (0/18 off five overs) was more economical, but he was unable to produce a breakthrough.
The only wicket to fall during the morning session was that of Jake Carder (22), who was caught in the deep off the bowling of Craig Overton.
It was a far better story for England on Saturday, with Mark Stoneman (85), James Vince (82), Dawid Malan (retired on 56), and Gary Ballance (retired on 51) producing good knocks.
