While India could not win the second Twenty20 against New Zealand here on Saturday, the team put its disappointment on the backburner as it celebrated skipper Virat Kohli’s birthday.
The run-machine, who now is the second highest four-hitter in Twenty20 cricket, received a special cake treatment as he turned 29 on November 5.
The Indian cricket team, alongside the members of the team management including coach Ravi Shastri, was present as Kohli cut his birthday cake.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to their social media channels to wish Kohli and share the pictures of the celebrations.
