Blame Game Arrogant Mahama ministers caused NDC's defeat - NDC MP

Indiscipline and arrogance of power caused the defeat of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of winning power in the 2016 general elections.The Member of Parliament for Yunyoo constituency in the Northern region, Joseph Bipoba Naabu blamed the party's defeat in the December polls because of the arrogance of some Ministers who were appointed by former President John Mahama. According to him, former President Mahama appointed young boys as ministers of State to help him run the economy knowing very well that they had no experience in politics.The lawmaker said Mahama's inability to command his ministers reduced the chances of the party.He said "The arrogance of most of the ministers was very serious and it affected us in the elections.

Speaking to the media in Parliament, he said the defeat of the 2016 election as a result of the arrogant posture of the former Mahama's appointees.The lawmaker added that "You can see that we lost the Vice-President's constituency and that of President Mills' constituency.
