What’s better than a 400-plus calorie color-changing coffee drink with 59 grams of sugar and a main ingredient described as “blue drizzle”? Well, frankly, just about anything, but if we’re comparing unicorns to unicorns here, it’s worth noting that fashion was way ahead of the game on this one.

Before some Starbucks marketing whiz whipped up the Unicorn Frappuccino everyone’s been freaking out over (why?), Sarah Burton put said mystical creature on a dress at Alexander McQueen.

For the whimsy-filled Fall 2016 collection, the designer sent a stunning gown down the runway that boasted a gold sequined unicorn embroidered down the front.
