Australian fast bowler James Pattinson has been reprimanded by the ECB for excessive appealing during a County Championship game last week. The Nottinghamshire pacer was reported by on field umpires Peter Hartley and Alex Wharf during the game against Durham at the Riverside Ground in Chester-le-Street last week.
The ECB stated in an official statement that Pattinson had committed a level one breach of code of conduct. "This penalty will remain on his record for a period of two years and the accumulation of nine or more penalty points in any two-year period will result in an automatic suspension," an official statement from the ECB stated.
