(+26...0) asks my baby's 👶eyes are becoming yellow?
Your baby probably has newborn jaundice. Jaundice is caused by the baby's immature liver not functioning properly. In newborns, mild jaundice is very common, and usually goes away within several weeks without treatment. Make sure your baby is consuming breast milk/formula 🍼 often (every two to three hours or on demand) and is urinating frequently. Also, ensure that he gets exposed to indirect sunlight (inside near a sunny window) 🌞 at least 10 minutes, twice a day. Go see a doctor immediately if the yellow tint spreads to the palm of his hands ✋or feet, or if the baby develops a fever 🤒 or is is not feeding well. Mild jaundice goes away on its own, but severe jaundice can be dangerous.
