A Jubilee Party stalwart from Kisii has ditched President Uhuru Kenyatta and rejoined ODM leader Raila Odinga's camp. Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi said on Thursday that his 'last-minute' move was based on the people's moods, feelings and wishes.
"I am their leader...I can't let them walk alone," he told a press conference held to unveil him at Capitol Hill in Nairobi.
Maangi, who severed links with ODM about two years ago, will now be Governor James Ongwae's running mate in the August 8 polls.
