Chigumbura dropped from Zimbabwe ODI squad

Zimbabwe dropped all-rounder Elton Chigumbura from their One-Day International squad for the upcoming ODI series against Scotland, Netherlands and Sri Lanka, on Friday (May 26).

The 31-year-old has been struggling for form in the recent past, evidenced by the fact that he has compiled just 41 runs in his last nine ODIs.

Zimbabwe will play 2 ODIs against Scotland on June 15 and 17, followed by a tour to Netherlands where they are slated to play three 50-over internationals. Zimbabwe then will proceed to Sri Lanka to play five ODIs and one Test. The Test team will be announced at a later stage.
